Chen (Vocal/Guitar), Chuan (Drum), Terry (Guitar), Peter (Bass) started playing together about 2 years ago.

While jamming out at the Cornish Arms, the boys were discovered by Josh.

Ever since then, the band has gone to play over 50 gigs in locations around the city, including appearances at the Ding Dong Lounge, Espy, Princes of Wales and the Tote.

After many very successful headlining shows this year, they started to record their first EP in 2006.


The Five Venoms are uncompromising when they comes to dazzling an audience with their display
of Malmsteen like guitar virtuosity. The lead singer is said to have one of the most awesome
heads of hair in Melbourne, and a set of tonsils to match. The Five Venoms write catchy tunes
combining classic rock, hard hitting riffs and symphonic guitarmageddon. Worshipping at the
temple of the Five Venoms is like dying and going to guitar heaven.
